  • Overview

    Scope of Responsibilities: This role will be responsible for helping develop solutions that are high performing, reliable and requires a strong understanding of PBM methodologies, concepts and processes. In addition will assist to create and maintain ProAct’s internal and client facing data systems. 

     

    Job Summary: This position will facilitate, assist, create and troubleshoot partner integrations and processes using a combination of resources, methodologies and applications. This position will help the IT Department with new business systems/processes, design, implementation and support opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    Job Duties:

    • Responsible for working with new and existing partners in the development and administration of ProAct’s core tools and business processes which includes working with a variety of TPA (Third Party Administrators), electronic transmissions of eligibility files, medical/Rx files and reporting requirements.
    • Work with TPA and clients to define/maintain/troubleshoot file feeds and layouts based on specific application
    • Work with ProAct IT to systematically integrate new clients into standard business processes
    • Help design new reporting techniques, automate and create executive dashboards to meet changing business requirements.
    • Analyze business data and implement key database and BI solutions utilizing the current ProAct application suite which includes RDBMS, ETL and BI technology
    • Troubleshoot and analyze data issues within raw data feeds and reports.
    • Help with test scenarios/files, test execution and test results validation
    • Explain requirements and processes to internal/external technical and business partners in a variety of ways (use cases, logical diagrams, flow charts)
    • Meet with IT and partners to review requirements, address open issues/questions and close gaps
    • Help represent all business interests in making sure technical designs and processes meet or exceed needs
    • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Education: Associates degree or equivalent real-world experience.

     

    Experience:

    • S. in Business Administration, Business Analytics or related field
    • Ability to translate business questions and partner requirements into systematic processes
    • Very Strong communication and problem-solving skills
    • Healthcare industry experience a plus
    • MS-SQL Server and relational database experience a plus
    • Familiarity with BI, ETL and reporting tools a plus

     

    Special Conditions of Employment:

    Job Skills Required:   

    • Strong BI, analytical and technical skills
    • Identifying data quality issues and defining/implementing corrective actions
    • Identify opportunities and recommend changes to IT that will help insure optimal performance in our database and systems environment
    • Coordinate activities, changes and communication with internal groups and business partners
    • One to three years’ experience in the design, implementation and support of critical business processes tied to the electronic transferring, storing, mapping and generation of specific file types and layouts
    • Multitasking with the ability to handle multiple tasks, changing priorities in a fast paced, rapidly growing environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Self-motivated with excellent customer service and problem-solving ability
